See You Later, Winter! Secrets for Lookin’ Springtime Fresh

Published 02/24/2013 by

We’re so ready to say goodbye to winter! Our boots are getting packed away and our wardrobes are being filled with sky-high wedges, canvas sneaks and pedicure-worthy open-toed sandals. Now that that’s checked off our list, it’s time to think about your spring beauty routine. Dry harsh winter weather has probably left your skin lookin’ oh-so-dull. Here are three beauty tips to get your season started off just right!

Kissable Lips: Chapped lips be gone. Keep a hydrating lip balm handy at all times. We love Smith’s Rosebud Salve. We hear it’s one of Queen Bey’s faves, keeping her lips hydrated and soft when she kisses Blue Ivy and Jay!

Scrub a Dub Dub: Brighten up your facial complexion and scruff away dead skin with a DIY brown sugar scrub. Mix ½ a cup of olive oil with 2 cups brown sugar. Then add and mix ¼ cup of honey and a teaspoon of vanilla extract (this makes it smell pretty). It’s also great for the body, especially your knees and elbows!

I Wanna Hold  Your Hand: Dry, flaky hands are totally not an option! Rescue your palms by moisturizing throughout the day – don’t be lazy, one time isn’t enough! Stuffed inside our bags, a drugstore holy grail – Glysomed Hand Cream. It’ll leave you with silky smooth skin so you won’t be afraid to hold your crush’s hand.
