Our fave celeb Instagrams to follow

Published 04/22/2013 by

We’re totally obsessed with Instagram. It’s the first thing we check when we wake up and the last thing we check when we go to sleep. The nifty little mobile app let’s you snap photos and transform those photos with filters, which can then be shared with the world. It can be super tough to figure out just who to follow, so we’ve curated a list of faves for you (@callitspring, not included).

Unfiltered and raw, Rihanna always gives her fans something to talk about. From her pics when she first reunited with Chris Brown, private hang time with her Mom and her life on tour, which recently included surprising her bestie in bed with birthday cake (she’s just like the rest of us).

Lebron James

That’ll be King James to you. B-baller Lebron James takes us off the court, we get a sneak peek of family time with his wife and sons, his travels (from China to the Olympics), his personal fashion swag (the man loves his sneakers / kicks) and hang time with famous friends, oh you know, like Barack Obama, Jay Z and Leo Messi.

Aimee Song

Popular L.A.-based fashion blogger Aimee Song of Song of Style is the epitome of Cali cool. A lover of arm swag, Aimee’s photo stream is a combo of her outfits of the day including her rocking high heel shoes, her travels around the world (from Coachella to New York Fashion Week) and her eats. Who said fashion girls don’t eat?

Lena Dunham

She’s known for her quirkiness and that’s why we love Lena Dunham. Creator of HBO’s TV show Girls, you’ll also know her as the show’s lead Hannah. Her Instagram feed is a mix of selfies, on-set at Girls (you’ll see appearances from Marnie & Adam), her doggie and her musician boyfriend, Jack Antonoff of Fun. Don’t forget to read her photo captions, they’re clever and witty.

Ellie Goulding

We can’t get enough of her beautiful voice. Ellie’s Instagram is a full-on behind-the-scenes look at her tour life. On-stage, at the airport, with fans and hanging with peeps like Florence Welch, Rita Ora and Calvin Harris.

Eva Chen

Former Teen Vogue Beauty Editor, Eva Chen updates her feed constantly and we can’t help but have a life crush on her. You’ll catch her on the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards, sitting front row at fashion week, trying out the latest beauty products, showing off her gorgeous shoes or hanging with her fashionable friends – she just went to Disneyland with fashion blogger royalty, Rumi Neely and Bryan Boy.

Living it up, what’d you’d expect from a rapper right? Drake shows off his bling, vacays on a yacht and private jets while still making time for his family, friends and hometown of Toronto. Canadian for life.

Pretty Lights

Pretty Lights is known for his unique style of electro hip hop soul music, playing small intimate venues to big crowds at Coachella. Our favorite part of the Pretty Lights Instagram feed? It’s pretty much all fan-generated. Fans are invited to submit photos with the hashtag #PLPIX of what else…the pretty lights.

Murad Osmann

Russian photographer Murad Osmann’s Instagram feed is breathtaking to say the least. His feed depicts his travels, shot from the perspective of holding his girlfriend, Nataly’s hand. From Bali to Hong Kong to London to Berlin, the shots are total eye candy and can his girlfriend be more gorgeous?

You obviously have to follow the most popular dog on Instagram, Maru. He’s got 400,000 followers – no big deal. A super adorable Shiba Inu dog from Japan, Maru photo updates will make your day. We have to admit, the dog life looks pretty comfy, lots of playtime, walks and nap time. Sounds like the good life.
