Though Danielle and I haven’t owned a pair of heeled shoes less than 5 inches in over half a decade, the perfectly shaped silhouette of these CIS babies have definitely convinced us that
faking “modifying” our height isn’t synonymous with looking chic and put together. Perhaps it’s Danielle’s tutu that makes this look really ~glam~, but I’d like to think that the instant *WOW* factor is 100% accredited to the fact that easy-to-walk-in shoes = GENERAL CONFIDENCE. That’s right, y’all. If you’re not awkwardly teetering around in your footwear, you’re gonna look like you know how to WERK. IT. (And honestly, that’s all you can really ask for in a shoe).
On another (un)related note, for the third season in a row, Danielle and I are headed to NYFW! Even though we booked our flights a couple of weeks ago, the ~reality~ of this travelling situation didn’t really set in until recently. It’ll be our forth time in !!The Big Apple!! together, and though the glitz and glam of the city never really strikes us (the same way it strikes our peers), we’re hopeful that the forth time is the charm. Of course, we’ve yet to start packing, but we’re definitely envisioning wearing these kitten heels with some thick-knit socks (because weather appropriate, duh!) and every single article of clothing that we have (because last year NEMO happened and we were severely and painfully unprepared lol).
Who else is going to NYFW? 1) Holla if u are, and 2) Get the nude version of these kitten heels so we can match =^_^=
**Note** The first of two ~emoji-filled~ interviews with CIS Street Styles model Axelle is now live on the CIS blog. Ch-ch-check it out!
