Calling all accessory junkies. We love extras, don’t we? Can’t stop, won’t stop. Anything we can sling on, tie up, pierce in or wrap around the accessory horse has our utmost attention at ‘hello’. Accessory connoisseurs know that the greatest pieces are the ones that prove to be the most versatile and that add that irresistible personal touch. Why limit the bling dependency to fashion when our rides can look just as hot. By including an accessory touch you will also add convenience to your ride.

Galtani Cycling Gloves

With a pair of Galtani gloves you will no doubt earn your stripes, and improve your grip and control while you ride. Yes, they also look amazing with your sun-kissed tan. Galtani gloves double as shock absorbers that can reduce callouses and/or blisters while fighting the numbness that sometimes occurs with a long ride. Get your buddies to slip on a pair for group rides – instant bike crew uniform.

Back Bike Crate

You can usually grab one of these castaways at a local convenience store or grocery store. Secure it to the back of your bike with a few tie-wraps to a rear bike rack that can be found at any decent sporting goods store or your local bike shop. For an extra flare grab a rag, dip it in white paint and rub it over the crate to give it a vintage country look.

Are you the adventurous type? A messy ride in the rain or other treacherous weather conditions might prompt you to invest in handle bar tape. Brooks Saddle

Brooks Englandhas been handcrafting leather saddles since 1866, so they might know a thing or two about ‘sit bones’ (aka butts). Don’t let the hard leather construction of a Brooks Saddle fool you. The tough seat is not only better for your posture; it will prove to be way more comfortable once broken in over time. A Brookes Saddle will also turn your bike into a stylish classic. There are many saddles to choose from so make sure to do a bit of research pre-splurge.
