DIY Halloween Nails

Published 10/30/2014 by

Our resident nail artist Elfi Lemieux came up with some pretty rad nail designs for you to sport during our *favourite holiday of the year* – yes that special day where it’s perfectly acceptable to play dress-up AND eat monstrous amounts of candy as an adult. Make sure to check our Instagram @Callitspring for more Halloween nail inspirations!

1. Casper meets Jack Skellington

For this nail set we took classic symbols of Halloween: ghouls, bones and skeletons. Make sure to have an opaque black nail polish and a white liner and you can call it a night! ;)

2. All-seeing eyes

This one is a Halloween passe-partout nail design. It can be done on long nails but it also looks great on shorter nails. All you need is a good liner and some patience. For a softer look replace the silver for a nude and for a spooky effect use a neon green instead!

3. Halloween plaid

If you don’t want your nails to scream ~Halloween~ but still evoke it, this look is for you. Plaid is everywhere this fall so why not on your nails too? The trick to achieve this look like a pro is: let every coat dry properly. Then you’ll have a crisp design! ***Perfect on short nails***
